Artists Anna Hughs and Adam Shild will present, Sun Up Sun Down on 8th November, a performance of music made and recorded intermittently over two years during an extended residency period at Art Licks.

Drawing on the artists' shared interest in ancient sites and concepts of time and landscape, Anna and Adam will play a soundscape of field recordings, composed instrumentation and vocal layering. The music was inspired by an ancient sundial, visits to sites of ritual and worship, ruins, standing stones and local walks, as well as research into Moorland plant lore and histories from the immediate landscape.
